BODY ACTIVE THERAPY has been founded by Ania a BSc Hons Sports Therapist who has got 10 years experience as a therapist and over 20 years experience in sports. Ania has worked with numerous sports clubs, mainly football and martial arts. She led the injury management department of Montserrat National Football team international tournaments from 2010 to 2012, worked with Leyton Orient Football Academy.

Ania also provides services in her partner's world famous Muaythai Thai Martial Arts club RUKTHAI CAMP www.muaythai4u.com and London Fight Team. Furthermore she has worked for three years at a UK private clinic as a Sports Therapist, and an assistant to both a chiropractor and a physiotherapist, taking care of people with body pains and imbalances caused by poor posture, physical and sedentary jobs, and injuries not necessarily obtained in sports.

Managing acute and long-standing sports or work-related injuries using various techniques such as manual therapy, mobilizations, sports massage, deep tissue massage, TENS machine. Aiming to prevent further injuries to muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Also called Dry Needling - a treatment used to stimulate and release trigger points by using a very thin needle.
