BODY ACTIVE THERAPY has been founded by Ania - a Graduate of BSc Honours Sports Therapy (2009 London Metropolitan University). Ania has got over 10 years experience as a therapist and over 20 years experience in sports (black belt in Karate Kyokushin, Muaythai fighter). Ania has worked with numerous sports clubs, mainly football and martial arts. She led the injury management department of Montserrat National Football team at international tournaments from 2010 to 2012. Also worked with Leyton Orient Football Academy (League Two).
Ania also provides services in her partner's world famous Muaythai Thai Martial Arts club RUKTHAI CAMP www.muaythai4u.com and London Fight Team. NOW ALSO WORKING WITH AMAZING Oadby Wyggs Rugby Club!!
Furthermore she has worked for three years at a UK private clinic as a Sports Therapist, and an assistant to both a chiropractor and a physiotherapist, taking care of people with body pains and imbalances caused by poor posture, physical and sedentary jobs, and injuries not necessarily obtained in sports.
Our mission is to help people overcome their limitations caused by a physical injury at all stages, pain, decreased mobility, weakness or muscle tightness.

Managing acute and long-standing sports or work-related injuries using various techniques such as manual therapy, mobilizations, sports massage, deep tissue massage, TENS machine. Aiming to prevent further injuries to muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Also called Dry Needling - a treatment used to stimulate and release trigger points by using a very thin needle. Trigger points are the result of a muscle injury or repetitive strain, and cause a shortening of the muscle fibers. Excellent results with the following conditions: Neck and Back Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Tennis or Golfer's Elbow, Anterior Knee Pain, Muscle Spasms, Repetitive Strain Injuries Calf & Shin Pain.

Advice for fitness routines and nutrition, simple to follow exercises for anybody at all stages of injury, acute to near full recovery. Programs for maintenance and prevention of re-occurrence.
